Please accept our sincere apology. We are working to resolve the issues and assure every gift card sold by Cal Java Coffee Roasters at East Ave & at Mangrove are honored.

Good news

We have been able to locate the backend data bases on each of the gift card systems. We are working to compile all cads into our new Clover Gift Card data base. Once this is accomplished, all cards will work at both East Ave and Mangrove locations.

What is Happening

We have switched POS systems (Point of sales) a few times. This is due to a few crucial logistical reasons and the process has been as challenging for us as it has been for our customers. This does not change the fact it has been difficult for you and our staff. We acknowledge this has caused our customers frustration and lack of trust in our gift card system. Again, our sincere apologies.

Timeline

Moving forward, all new gift cards sold will work as promised.

We are in the process of working with the backend development team at Clover to get all past gifts working at both locations. This might take us as long as December 1st, 2024.
